Woodlands is the ideal living space for you and your family for island exploration! We can host up to six people.
While walking on one of our many beaches is wonderful, you probably want to know more about our Chebeague home.
Sleeps six people, including babies, three bedrooms, two full baths. We offer heat and and whole house air conditioning and internet. We have a throughly modern, fully stocked kitchen with a lobster pot and cookbooks (just in case you haven't cooked lobster before) There are some spices available. We provide "starter" bath tissue, bath soap and kitchen paper. Lots of towels and sheets including beach towels, beach umbrella, two beach chairs, and a kite.

One of our baths has a deep soaking tub for relaxing. After all you are on vacation. The other bath has a shower and an antique sink.
The house is a bit different today as we have added a wood stove where a sideboard was. We still have the wonderful sideboard but it is in a different place.
No Pets, no smoking in the house. There are rentals for bicycles, golf carts and cars available on the island.
We require our contract to be signed and mailed back to us with your deposit.
We are located on Chebeague Island. Eleven miles from the Portland Jetport to the Rte. 1 parking lot. We are easy to get to, with many activities going on for your vacation. There are beaches all around. The island has two ferry services, historical society, sailing and drama lessons for the children. The island also offers a nine hole golf course, tennis and a pool. Restaurants include the fabulous Chebeague Island Inn, the Slow Bell and the Two Birds Cafe. For groceries and sandwiches try Doughty's Island Market.
The house is a fully equipped vacation rental. Includes heat and air conditioning. Just bring clothes and some basic food. We have TV with Netflix, internet. We also have games, a kite and croquet.

We will send our "Spring Letter" upon receiving your deposit. It will give you good directions on how to get here and what to bring.
Chebeague Island is a short enjoyable 12 minute ferry ride from the mainland.
Parking for Island guests is on Route 1, Cumberland. Easy to get to.
